Let's tie up together and enjoy this beautiful and exposed route.
“Sentiero alpinistico M. Torti” is the real name of this trail. If you love hiking in the Lake Garda area and want an adrenaline-pumping adventure, you absolutely must try it!
It is a small ledge carved into the rock just above the lake. Legend has it that it was carved by smugglers to evade the state border control between Italy and Austria, but it was probably just a test for the construction of the Gardesana road.
We will wear a harness and rope ourselves together to proceed as a rope team and ensure safety because the path is very exposed, but it is not physically more demanding than a hike.
The trip will start from the small village of Pregasina, a few minutes' drive from Riva del Garda. It usually takes 4-5 hours to get back to the car.
