Choose your starting point from Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Conversano or Bari to begin your adventure exploring 2 of the most beautiful locations in Southern Italy. Start your trip in Matera, one of Italy's most spectacular gems and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, named the European Capital of Culture in 2019. You will be able to explore the famous Sassi, ancient districts carved into the rock where thousands of people once lived in cave-houses without modern comforts. During the tour, we will visit the miniature Sassi and the Casa Grotta, living symbols of local history and culture. You'll be able to stroll through stone streets, among local artisans, cafes, and ice cream parlors in an atmosphere of pure Mediterranean charm. Next, continue to Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, famous for its trulli, conical stone houses built with ancient techniques, which create a fairytale landscape enlivened by shops, cafes, and restaurants. The light on the stones and the winding streets create a magical and timeless atmosphere. During the visit, we will enter the miniature Trullo for an in-depth immersion in local history. The tour includes transportation in comfortable vehicles departing from Bari, Monopoli, Conversano, or Polignano a Mare, and lasts approximately 10 hours. You will be accompanied by a professional tour guide who will guide you all along the route. This experience will allow you to discover the culture and history of two of the most fascinating UNESCO sites in southern Italy in comfort and in depth in a single day.
