Explore the Centro Storico Fiat, located in the original expansion of the Corso Dante workshops in Turin, where the company was born. Designed by Alfredo Premoli, a renowned exponent of Turin’s Liberty style, the building was constructed between 1904 and 1906 and inaugurated in 1907. It served as a production and finishing workshop, warehouse, garage, exhibition space, and gym. Today, it houses a collection of memorabilia, models, and advertising posters covering the entire history of the company. See some of the most significant cars in Fiat’s production: from the 3 ½ HP, the first car produced by the Italian Automobile Factory of Turin in 1899, to the Eldridge Mefistofele of 1923, one of the first record-breaking cars. Admire the Fiat 525 SS of 1929, a star of elegance competitions and considered the most beautiful Italian car of the 1920s and 1930s, and the 8V of 1952, an extraordinary sports car with a fiberglass body designed by Luigi Rapi. Discover the first tractor, the Fiat 702 of 1919; the 18BL truck, which motorized Italian troops in World War I; the Littorina, a protagonist of railway transport from the 1930s; and the G91 fighter, designed by Giuseppe Gabrielli and later adopted by NATO. These unexpected vehicles testify to Fiat’s involvement in all sectors of motorized mobility, from aviation to motorboats. In addition to vehicles, admire numerous valuable paintings, such as the Fiat 600, painted by Felice Casorati in 1956, and The Founders of Fiat, created by Lorenzo Delleani in 1906.
