This water tank was built by Tommaso Laureti, an architect from Palermo, during the Renaissance, to supply the Fountain of Nettuno. It is composed of a big octagonal tank, four channels and three tanks to collect water. There is also a beautiful chimney entirely covered by limestone. It has never been restructured.
